Empty Roads Ahead

I love road trips and when I look at stretches of road ahead, I’m always reminded:  It’s all about possibilities.

You never know what’s just around the next bend or over the next hill…

*just outside of Mesquite, NV

*atop Chimney Rock, Capitol Reef Natl Park, UT looking at the road behind me

*Great Smoky Mountains, looking at the road ahead of me

*winter’s day in Iowa, just north of Des Moines

*fog increases as I near Saylorville Lake

*Iowa countryside… sometimes you guess where the road is

*somewhere in the Utah mountains

*after the storm, somewhere in the Southwest

*Garnet Hill, the long dirt road behind us

*somewhere in northern NV

  1. Beautiful photography! 🙂 I hope you don’t mind that I used one of your images as a precursor to a poem of mine, giving due credit of course… 🙂 http://atopsyturvyworld.wordpress.com/2013/10/13/hopeless-cause/
